5th and 6th November

Hello blog yesterday the fifth of November,2007. I went to a (CIF) Caribbean Internet Forum. There I spoke about my blog and the problem we had to access a computer and the internet. Thankfully the meeting was promise to help me with my medical needs and getting to access the internet, but I have no computer, can you the world help? so it will be easier to post a blog daily for all the viewer of my blogger. But the blog is not yet finish we have to help everybody we can.

The resulted of yesterday (CIF) meeting

The meeting rise up to $520.00us for medical supplies for my eyes and my legs. My family, friends and I are very happy and thankful for the support that the various persons at the (CIF)meeting, Mrs. Williams and Ms. Armelle Chatelier for their help, they give to me.

Helping Hand Needed

I have visited a number doctors in relation to my eye and skin but I have yet to see a good doctor(specialist). The medical care is way to expensive($150.00 excluding medication cost).This amount is unreachable for me because my family is experiencing financial problems. My mother is sick and so is unable to work with twelve children, nine of whom is dependant in the house hold with the absence of a male support.With six of us attending nschool the use of a computer system is greatly needed. We depend sloely on my sister and brothers income to pay for house rent, food, transportation, clothing and other neccessities. Other than that we are happy to have each other to keep us up.

My introduction to this blog

Its me again, hope every thing is good with you. Several months ago a helping hand if you would say, suggested that i start a blog about me and my difficulties with my health, friends and family, also what impact on my life. I had to over come first the challenge of getting access to the internet and that was not easy since access was rear to me. It was arranged by Mrs. Williams (helping hand) to come and do it on her computer. But also with this there was a challenge of bus fair for me and my friend(Milan Charles) who helped me with the blog. Fair was needed from home to town ,town to the Morne and vice versa($11.00). But we tried to make it work even when we had home work to accomplish. Some time Mrs. Williams was not available so we had to pay at the internet cafe in town ($3.00 per half hour). Our schools provided computers but there was a problem with the demand for the computers an the number supplied to us. For me it was harder because at the Sir Ira Simmons Secondary School it was forbidden to use the internet so they didn't supply it. We have thought about saving to purchase a computer but the expence was unberable. Don't even think about the difficulties of getting internet supplied to your home it is almost impossible with the requirements and efficiency of the suppliers and their network. As to this i think that some measures need to be put in place for easier access to the internet for the growing youth of today at a cheaper rate and cost.
